Introducing the best denim jacket that you've ever owned! Our Doyle is now available for custom orders in four types of raw Japanese denim. These jackets are comfortable, versatile and will age beautifully with wear. They're an excellent casual match to chinos and a cool counterpart to wool trousers.
Choose your size, customize the sleeve and body length if needed, and even include a hand-drawn monogram if you like. Your jacket will be made to your specs right here in Los Angeles and shipped in about a month. Our four denims are as follows:
Kaihara 14oz Deep Indigo: A classic heavier denim with the dark shade of a typical Japanese jean
Nihon Menpu 12oz Tobacco Crosshatch: A gorgeous mid-brown color with a complex crosshatch twill effect
Nihon Menpu 12oz Marine Crosshatch: A lighter and more vibrant blue tone with that same gorgeous crosshatch texture
Kuroki 14oz Vintage Western Blue: A solid medium blue that recalls a pair of 1970s Wranglers.
Our terms for the Doyle Made to Order program are as follows:
1) You may choose any chest size from 34 to 46
2) Sleeve length and body length can be modified in 1" increments
3) A monogrammed interior pocket is available for a $15 upcharge. Choose up to three letters, and they'll be stitched by hand with a heavy-gauge thread. This monogram is on the inside and is not visible externally.
4) All sales are final. Your jacket will be ready to ship within approximately 4 to 6 weeks.
The Doyle Jacket
The Doyle is our loving homage to the classic French work jacket. Two open patch pockets sit at the hip. They're doubled against the body, allowing your hands to use them both from the side and from the top. Hidden brass rivets and heavy stitched bar tacks sit at the corners to reinforce them against heavy use. A single exterior pocket and a long interior pocket sit on either sides of the chest. The sleeves close with a functional single cuff, and can be unbuttoned and pushed up your forearms. The rear is single vented and the soft top point collar cuts a rakish profile whether open or closed. The buttons are natural corozo nut, dyed a gorgeous brandy tone.
Measurements & Sizing
"Note: All measurements are shown in inches. For the Doyle jacket, "Chest" is measured from one seam under the armpit to the other. "Shoulder" is measured from one shoulder seam to the other, on the rear of the shirt. "Sleeve" is measured from the shoulder seam to the end of the sleeve. "Length" is measured from the base of the collar (where it attaches to the jacket body) to the bottom of the tail.
