Made in South Central Los Angeles
This is one of the most unique and beautiful denims that we've ever seen! Woven in the USA by Cone Mills, this deadstock fabric is 100% cotton and weighs 12oz... which is on par with the typical pair of jeans.
Its yarn-dyed Saffron color is an incredibly rich tone that splits the difference between deep yellow and light orange. It's absolutely radiant in the sunshine! Close inspection reveals a subtle cross-hatch texture and a wonderful interplay of lighter and darker yarns. This is an eye-catching match for any lighter colored pant and it's a brilliant contrast with indigo jeans. This perfect Spring/Summer Doyle is available in limited quantities.
The Doyle is our loving homage to the classic French work jacket. Starting with the minimal and utilitarian shape of the original garment, we upgraded the fit, construction, and fabric to create a versatile piece that can be worn as an all-day smart casual garment.
Two open patch pockets sit at the hip. They're doubled against the body, allowing your hands to use them both from the side and from the top. Hidden brass rivets and heavy stitched bar tacks sit at the corners to reinforce them against heavy use. A single exterior pocket and a long interior pocket sit on either sides of the chest.
The sleeves close with a functional single cuff, and can be unbuttoned and pushed up your forearms. The rear is single vented and the soft top point collar cuts a rakish profile whether open or closed. The buttons are natural corozo nut, dyed a gorgeous brandy tone.
This Doyle matches brilliantly to chinos, denim, and trousers. It's easy to care for, effortless to wear, and unmatched in its ratio of quality to price.
