As a supremely comfortable cloth, corduroy is a popular mainstay of our collection. However, finding that perfect color is often difficult. With the expertise of our dye house technicians... we didn't need to find it. We MADE it.

This rich medium brown has just the slightest touch of reddishness to make the color really pop. It flawlessly matches all of the navy, grey, indigo, khaki, olive, and black pieces that you already own.

The process started in Japan, as it often does. We sourced a gorgeous 8oz PFD (prepare-for-dye) corduroy from Yoshiwa Mills. Its weight is on par with our typical canvas chinos, and it's wearable throughout the year. The finished white garments are then plunged into a reactive dye bath at our dyehouse in South Central Los Angeles. They're all combined into a single batch, so the color is consistent and matching across all pieces. The resulting garments are extremely soft, colorfast, preshrunk, and colored the most perfect shade of chestnut that the world has ever seen.

The Sinclair is our casual sportcoat which marries refined sartorial details to strong, rugged construction. Like our tailored jackets, it has 3.75" lapels and an elegant front which can be styled as a 2-button or 3-button stance. And like our Doyle jackets, it has a functional sleeve cuff and two-way front patch pockets. This allows for endless variations in styling, and a versatile piece which looks just as good with a tie and trousers as it does with a t-shirt and jeans.

The construction is soft and unpadded, making this an excellent no-nonsense travel companion and a worthy alternative to a traditional canvassed sportcoat. Two open patch pockets sit at the hip. They're doubled against the body, allowing your hands to use them both from the side and from the top. Hidden brass rivets and heavy stitched bar tacks sit at the corners to reinforce them against heavy use. The sleeves close with a functional single cuff, and can be unbuttoned and pushed up your forearms. The back is single vented, and all interior seams are fully finished and taped for durability.
