The Sinclair is our casual sportcoat which marries refined sartorial details to strong, rugged construction. Like our tailored jackets, it has 3.75" lapels and an elegant front which can be styled as a 2-button or 3-button stance. And like our Doyle jackets, it has a functional sleeve cuff and two-way front patch pockets. This allows for endless variations in styling, and a versatile piece which looks just as good with a tie and trousers as it does with a t-shirt and jeans. There's nothing else quite like it, and we're confident that it will find a treasured place in your wardrobe. 

This particular coat is crafted in tweed from the famous Woolrich Woolen Mills of Pennsylvania. A blend of 85% wool and 15% Nylon, it's a medium-heavy weight of 14oz and on par with a thicker sportcoat. Its marled color is a mixture of medium brown, khaki, and subtle red notes... yielding a beautiful "hickory" tone that matches brilliantly with navy, grey, indigo, khaki, camel, and olive. The nylon content serves to soften the hand of this fabric and give it additional tensile strength. 

The construction is soft and unpadded, making this an excellent no-nonsense travel companion and a worthy alternative to a traditional canvassed sportcoat. Two open patch pockets sit at the hip. They're doubled against the body, allowing your hands to use them both from the side and from the top. Hidden brass rivets and heavy stitched bar tacks sit at the corners to reinforce them against heavy use. 

The sleeves close with a functional single cuff, and can be unbuttoned and pushed up your forearms. The back is single vented, and all interior seams are fully finished and taped for durability.

Each Sinclair is made by a handful of skilled operators at our Downtown Los Angeles facility. Every piece is cut and assembled by hand, and their proficiency is evident in the clean finishing and consistent stitching on each garment. These are among the finest and most meticulously made garments in the United States. 

Measurements & Sizing
"Note: All measurements are shown in inches. "Chest" is measured from one seam under the armpit to the other. "Shoulder" is measured from one shoulder seam to the other, on the rear of the shirt. "Sleeve" is measured from the shoulder seam to the end of the sleeve. "Length" is measured from the base of the collar (where it attaches to the shirt) to the bottom of the tail.
