Made in South Central Los Angeles
Woven in Canada, this 14oz fabric mixes 80% wool with 20% nylon, and the medium weight is excellent as both standalone outerwear and a layering piece on colder days. The nylon gives this fabric increased strength against abrasion and pilling, and is based upon military standards. This color is a handsome muted petrol blue.
Based upon a hunting vest from the 1920's, the Sierra is a minimal item that easily integrates into your casual or slightly formal looks. With our signature dyed corozo nut buttons, this simple unlined design features button-closed hip pockets and an angled breast pocket. It stands well on its own and looks brilliant as a layering piece under the Doyle, a sportcoat, or any overcoat.
Each Sierra Vest is made by a handful of skilled operators at our Downtown Los Angeles facility. Every piece is cut and assembled by hand, and their proficiency is evident in the clean finishing and consistent stitching on each garment. These are among the finest and most meticulously made garments in the United States.
