After much demand, we're expanding our splatter shirt assortment! This pattern is a striking multi-color splatter effect. Each shirt is laid flat and meticulously embellished with random, individual spots of soft, organic dye. The color fully seeps into the fabric and will not stain or wash out.
This narrow-loom Japanese oxford cloth is absolutely perfect. It's a versatile 4-season weight, it's insanely soft from the first touch, it's thick enough not to be transparent, and it's a smooth ecru off-white tone. It will go with every single piece of clothing that you own.
It's no surprise that that we love this kind of stuff at Epaulet. The novel idea is to use it in the Chainstitch... a classic workwear pattern that's almost always done in more rugged fabrics. This makes for a luxe and slightly unexpected take on the dual-pocket shirt. We love those bright white threads trailing off at the hem!
Each Chainstitch Shirt has our signature athletic slim fit. It has a compact unlined spread collar that cuts a great profile when worn open. Its side seams are secured with a long continuous "chainstitch" line of thread - which is unparalleled for strength and finished with a functional gusset and a runoff of the chainstitch thread. The sturdy double-track placket is closed with genuine corozo nut buttons. Two patch pockets sit on the chest. The mid-length tail allows you to wear the shirt tucked or untucked. It's a rugged style that works seamlessly in our collection and can be dressed up or down.
All measurements are shown in inches. "Chest" is measured from one seam at the armpit to the other. "Shoulder" is measured from one shoulder seam to the other. "Sleeve" is measured from the shoulder seam to the cuff. "Length" is measured from the base of the collar (where it attaches to the shirt) to the bottom of the tail.
