Indigo Dyed Vintage 1970s Military Jacket Size 36 Regular

Epaulet x Rebels & Rogues

May we present something truly exceptional.

This unique vintage US military jacket was sourced from our friends at Rebels & Rogues... one of the premier surplus vintage specialists in the world. The jacket dates back to the 1970s Vietnam war era, and it was produced in the United States by Alpha Industries.

We took this piece to our dyehouse in South Central Los Angeles and dipped it four times in reactive indigo dye. The end result is just incredible! The external fabric takes the dye in a slightly irregular fashion... yielding a beautiful pattern of blue striations across the surface. Certain parts of the jacket with more cotton (like the liner and patches) are dyed a solid deep indigo. This treatment is color fast, but you can expect some great fading with use. Each piece has its own characteristics and imperfections. These unique pieces are unlike anything else out there!

This particular jacket measures out as an approximate size 36R. This piece has a lot of awesome patches that took the indigo dye to varying degrees. Right chest has an Air Force patch and woven emblem. Left chest has a perfectly frayed name tag and another patch. The body is clean and in excellent shape.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS VINTAGE ITEM IS FINAL SALE. We cannot accept any returns or exchanges on this piece.
